Australia - Day 1 - Circular Quay

Today we went down to circular quay so I could see where Princessotako worked.  It was a surprise to learn that she worked at the oprah house!  I didn't get a behind the scenes peek, but still had a lot of fun.  

 

On the way to circular quay, we stopped so I could learn how to play the didgeridoo.

It was so fun.  I think I'm good, others may disagree.

We walked around the oprah house to circular quay to where all the ferries depart.

Latvia - Day 6 - Day Trip

Car ride!

We took this tram from Sigulda over Gauja river to Krimulda.

Then we went to Gutmanala cave.  It's so dark in here!

Time to buy a souvenir!

Before I leave on my next expedition (Australia!), Pahasiga surprised me with a warm sweater to wear, it even has my name on the front.  She says it's so I know which way to put it on, like I'd forget..

Latvia - Day 5 - Hide and Seek

Today we played a fun game of hide and seek.  First here's a really neat photo of the creek Vecgauja taken from a bridge.  Do you like the castle on the right?

I won second place!  At least it's better than third!

Latvia - Day 4 - Beach Trip

Today I woke up not feeling well, but since we were going to the beach, I still went anyways.  I curled up in a blanket enjoying the sunshine.

After awhile I started to feel better and they said I could take a boat ride!

Eventually I got daring and went out on the water.

Oh no, big wave!

A nice picnic while I dry off.

At 7:30 pm, we cast long shadows.

I'm so tired now!

Latvia - Day 3 - Work day

Today I went to work with Pahasiga.  We started with a great breakfast.

After work it's time for some relaxation and fun!

Bears, of course, are VERY good climbers...

Look, I can read bedtime stories in Estonian.

Latvia - Day 1 - Arrival and Picnic

I've arrived in Latvia!  Me at the post office:

"My... where are you bringing me?? Into a forest?? Are there bears or humans living there?!?"

Me and other bears - almost all that live in these Latvian forests.

 I bought a lottery ticket with a bear.  Pahasiga told me about the ticket "This series is depicting a Latvian-made cartoon inspired by a real incident some years ago, when a bear swum from Latvia to a small nearby Estonian island, causing panic among its residents and their animals."

What an awesome day.
