Oman - Misfat and Jabrin Castle

We took a trip into Oman to see some neat things.  We visited some ruins,  a place where pottery is made, a beautiful little town called Misfat, and Jabrin Castle.

The ruins.

Bricks of clay.

The Pottery.

Misfat. Isn't it beautiful?

UAE - Ferrari World

Ferrari World was an awesome place.  They have the world's fastest roller coaster and many other neat rides.

They sure do have beautiful cars!

Looks like I'm driving it huh?

Resting at the hotel after a long, long day.

Camp Kachina

The second half of the summer I spent at Camp Kachina.
Here's a LOT of pictures of all the neat things I got to do!

During the first week there, I joined in the Survivor
group and helped them create boats out of cardboard.

We ate all sorts of yummy snacks! This was my first time to try a S'More.

This camp is located on a lake where the girls get to have fun doing water activities.
We went kayaking and canoeing.

I like to travel around camp in style.

The girls loved me!

A friend visited us from afar for the summer. He had just as much fun as I did!

There were beautiful trails all over camp. Being in nature is very rewarding!

Camp Kachina is named after the Indian Kachina dolls.
The camp has Indian named units, and even some totem poles!

At the end of each week we have fun and crazy dance for the girls complete with glow sticks,

and the very last night we have a campfire.

What a long, great, and tiring summer!
I think it's time for some rest.

Camp Texlake

Here I am at Camp Texlake.  The first week of camp is a special one for Girl Scout Brownies because it's 'Teddy Bear Picnic'!  I got to hang out with all the girls and their little friends.

Here's an awesome picture of us at the actual picnic.

We also had fun doing other camp activities like archery:

And arts and crafts where we made a bandanna for ourselves,

and an 'All About Me' book.

This week was such a blast!

Oklahoma

A quick trip to Oklahoma City.

I relaxed in the hotel.

We stopped by Frontier City to look at the roller coasters (even though it wasn't open yet).

On the way back we stopped at the Welcome to Texas sign.
