Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Our local Girl Scout council held a stuffed animal sleepover. I mad tons of new friends from all over!

We had fun doing some outdoor activities.

We learned a lot while doing some neat science experiments.

Time to sleep. Zzzz....

Before we left we had a Brunch with Barbie party!

Thanks for making it a great sleepover my new friends!

The DoSeum

Visiting The DoSeum was amazing! So many ways to play and things to play with that we didn't really have time for pictures. I did get a couple!

So many interactive activities.

Does this count as having visited Montana?

Sea World San Antonio - Sleepover

I was able to spend the night at Sea World in San Antonio! We slept in by the Puffins and near the Penguins, but it was too dark to really see much (they like to keep the lighting as close to their natural habitat as possible.

We did get to see some sharks!
They took us to the top of the tank to look in.
The water is moving like the ocean does, but you can't really see it when viewing from the glass.

We played with toys with the dolphins for enrichment.

Adorable otters.

We helped feed the seals.

We didn't do anything with these 3, but it's always neat to see more animals.

Camp Dixie Allison

We went camping this weekend at Camp Dixie Allison.
It's a cute little property with just 2 buildings on the San Saba river.
It ended up getting down to 12 degrees that night!

It was also Girl Scouts birthday!

It's a pretty little river, but it was too cold to do anything in it.

We did get to explore and check out nature around the property.

Look at the neat fossils we found!

This camp has been here for over 50 years.

Sonora Caverns

The Sonora Caverns were really neat, but they wouldn't let us take ANYTHING in there. It's an enclosed cavern that has a temperature of 90 something degrees year round. There were also other adventures to be had around the area that made for some awesome pictures.

We mined for gems! I found some really pretty small ones for me to keep, just my size. I did play in some rocks too, but they were a bit big for me.

There were a lot of peacocks around.
They didn't seem scared of visitors, but I wasn't going to get too close.

Check out this neat old chair.

Who wants to play chess?
